Collaborating with the Service-Learning Team at the Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL), HSUHK, IYSL was invited to be one of the community partners for the English service-learning module ENG3010 Advanced English: Sales-English Writing in the first semester in AY2019/20. The module aimed to invite different community partners, ranging from local social enterprises to NGOs, to grant Year 3 students majoring in Translation with Business a precious chance to practise sales writing in real life. Students were required to write eye-catching articles, newsletters or promotional materials for the organisations’ projects and at the same time to design promotional leaflets for their writing.
